Compactness with few individual parts
Lacher Camtec cams are intelligently designed and consist of only a few components, which simplifies spare parts management and the replacement of individual parts.
High precision with high forces – in the smallest of spaces
The double prism drive clamp guide makes this possible, allowing the slide part and slide bed to be connected in the smallest of spaces. The guide clamps are easy to readjust, even in the press.
Balanced angle ratio for optimal force distribution
The cam transfers large forces with low surface pressure and is nevertheless compact. Any impulse forces that occur are converted into cam force rather than speed, which means that the cam is never faster than the press.
High retraction forces save costs
Equipped with sufficiently strong gas pressure springs, the cam carriage is returned to its optimal starting position. There is sufficient force remaining for scraping – you save on the cam scraper and can usually choose a smaller cam width. The top slide cams (KS-OT) are designed so that a stronger gas pressure spring can be installed up to a width of 180 mm.
